Inspiration For National Name Your Car Day

Our vehicles are our pride and joy–– we love them, so much so that we often hear our customers refer to their new Subaru as their “baby”! –– and well, every baby needs a name don’t they?

According to a Nationwide Insurance survey quoted on   CarConnection.com:

• 25% of Americans name their car
• 26% gave their cars female names
• 36% of drivers who name their car are between the age of 18-34

One thing is for sure, when it comes to naming your car, there aren’t any rules. Some people like to name their car after someone special, others chose names that describe their car (Big Red), and then there are some names that are seemingly chosen completely at random (those are usually the most memorable!).
