Woodbridge Police Senior Christmas Luncheon at Avenel Fire House - Michael H
Richard Lucas Subaru, Woodbridge Police Department, PBA/SOA Local #38 and members of the Avenel Fire House hosted a beautiful Senior Christmas Luncheon on 12/22/22. Approximately 45 seniors from town were treated to a great lunch purchased by Richard Lucas Subaru. Their generosity and commitment to their community really showed and there was absolutely nothing but positive feedback. HUGE THANK YOU to the Lucas Family and to Greg Fahy for making the event such a success!
Helping the Less Adoptable - Tracy O
Woodbridge Animal Group (WAG) is the non-profit group that raises money to support animals in need at the Woodbridge Animal Shelter. We are fortunate to be Richard Lucas Subaru's hometown charity for the Subaru Share the Love Event! Donations from Subaru help us achieve our mission to provide veterinary services and enrichment for any adoptable pet, regardless of age, breed or health. Municipal Shelters don't get to choose their animals, but WAG chooses to make every pet's stay the best it can be, and get them as healthy as possible for their forever homes. Through the support of Subaru, WAG can help provide care and support that would other wise be cost prohibitive. With the support of community partners like Richard Lucas Subaru, we never have to say no to a shelter pet in need.
Great Adoptions at the In-Store Event - Tracy O
Thanks so much to Richard Lucas Subaru for hosting an in-house adoption event for Woodbridge Animal Group to help find homes for pets in care of the Woodbridge Shelter in Sewaren, NJ. Our recent event found homes for two fantastic dogs, Miley and Reese. Were it not for our announcement being shared they would not have found their families! Miley has a special story - she is serving double duty as a beloved family pet AND a seeing eye for a blind dog in the home. Community support is so important and we are so very grateful for the opportunity to partner with Richard Lucas to provide care and find homes for loving pets. Share the Love is an amazing program as it helps local, grass-roots charitable organizations raise much needed funds and get the word out to support their causes. Subaru Loves to Help Staten Islanders in Need - Flynn F
We are grateful to Richard Lucas Subaru of Woodbridge, New Jersey for delivering an abundance of warm blankets for those experiencing homelessness in our community this winter. Thank you for taking the time to hand deliver this thoughtful donation to Project Hospitality for distribution to the Staten Island community. Project Hospitality is thankful to be a part of the #subarulovestohelp initiative and we thank you for your compassion and sincere support for those most in need.
Richard Lucas Subaru Helps Homeless Shelter Pets - Tracy O
Woodbridge Animal Group (WAG) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises funds to support the animals in care of the Woodbridge Township Animal Shelter. While the shelter provides all basic care needed by homeless pets that come through the doors, it's often not enough. Many cats, dogs, rabbits and pocket pets come in requiring medical care that can often run into the thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, municipal shelters run in the red and always need help. Woodbridge Animal Group believes that any adoptable pet deserves veterinary care regardless of the cost. Richard Lucas Subaru wholeheartedly supports our mission, and we are honored to be their Share the Love partner for the past four years. WAG is a small group that runs 100% on donations, and programs like Share the Love and the donations from our amazing community have enabled us to never say "no" to an animal in need. WAG has funded amputations, emergency exploratory surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, dental extractions, tumor removal and biopsies, and so many other services through our partnership with the local vet and specialists. We help with supplies and medication that may otherwise be cost-prohibitive. Beyond medical, we help provide financial support for special needs and terminally ill pets for the families who open their homes to foster them. The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in many financial hardships, and non-profits have felt the impact through a decline in donations. WAG is thankful Richard Lucas Subaru contributes greatly to our mission to never say no to a pet in need. WAG is happy to refer anyone to Subaru because beyond the quality of the vehicles and the service they provide, Subaru cares about community and giving back. Collectively, we are all working together to do more to keep people and pets safe and happy! Subaru delivers warmth to RCINJ - MIchelle e
On June 6th, Richard Lucas Subaru employees enjoyed delivering blankets of warmth and hope to patients at Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ hospital. These blankets let the patients know that Subaru employees and customers are thinking about them and support them. All the patients loved them and were very appreciative.
Blanket Donation to Cancer Patients - Lauren K
The Subaru Love Promise Campaign recently delivered blankets to our oncology patients currently in treatment. The patients were so grateful for the warm gesture and remarked how nice it is to know that people care. Thank you Subaru for sharing the love with our patients!
Delivering Warmth to Rutgers Cancer Institute - Michelle E
Richard Lucas Subaru employees delivered warmth through a blanket donation to Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ on July 26th. The donation was very much appreciated from the hospital staff and said how much it will mean to their patients. One hospital employee in particular mentioned that thoughts and notes from strangers often has the greatest impact on them. It is without doubt that the employees and customers of Richard Lucas Subaru are supporting the patients at Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ.
